1 Muffaletta loaf or French bread
6 ounces sliced Ham
4 ounces sliced Salami
4 ounces sliced Mozzarella Cheese
1 cup chopped olive spread
Cut bread in half and open. Spread olive spread onto both pieces of bread. Layer on the meats on one half of the bread and the cheese on the other half of the bread. Place both sides on a broiler pan and place under the broiler for approximately 6 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the sandwich is toasted. Remove from the oven and put the two pieces together. Cut into 6 pieces and serve with your favorite fruit or chips.
Olive Spread
1 cup broken green olives
1 cup chopped black olives
1 cup chopped celery
½ cup diced carrots
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
3 ounces extra virgin olive oil
½ cup chopped parsley
Juice from 2 lemons
1 teaspoon minced garlic
Mix all ingredients together until you have a spread consistency. Use on Muffaletta sandwich.
