A HANDICAP FOR ACCREDITED TEXAS-BRED THREE YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD.  No nomination fee. $250 to pass the entry box and an additional $250 to start with $25,000 guaranteed of which $13,750 to the owner of the winner, $4,250 to second, $2,500 to third, $1,250 to fourth and $750 to fifth and $500 for placing sixth through tenth. If less than ten horses start, the purse monies not distributed will revert to the winning owner. Weights: Friday, October 30, 2009. High weights preferred. Total earnings in 2009 will be used in determining preference for horses assigned equal weights. Starters to be named through the entry box by the usual time of closing. The field will be limited to ten starters. Horses not receiving a starting position in the gate will receive a refund of there entry fee. A suitable award will be presented to the winning owner.

If less then 10 horses start, the purse money not awarded will revert to the winning owner. Weights: 121 lbs. Non-winners of $7,500 in 2009 allowed 2 lbs; $5,000 in 2009 allowed 4 lbs; a race in 2009 allowed 6 lbs. Maiden and Claiming races not considered in allowances. Starters to be named through the entry box by the usual time of closing. High weights preferred (on the scale). Total earnings in 2008 will be used in determining the order of preference of horses assigned equal weights. Starters to be named through the entry box by the usual time of closing.
