JOCKEY BENNY LANDEROS INJURED IN FIFTH RACE

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas (April 27, 2012) -- Jockey Benny C. Landeros was taken to Methodist Medical Center Dallas as a precaution after his mount went down in the fifth race tonight at Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie.

Jockey Benny C. Landeros was taken to Methodist Medical Center Dallas as a precaution after his mount went down in the fifth race tonight at Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie. 

Landeros, reported to be in stable condition by on-site medical personnel, was slightly injured when his mount, Wholelotatricks, went down at mid-stretch in the fifth race. He was conscious and alert when he was transported by ambulance from Lone Star Park.
