Filly And Mare Division Has Standout In LORI ANNE

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas (Wednesday, October 10, 2012)LORI ANNE, owned and trained by Ken Danyluk, is looking like a shining star going into Friday night’s Grade 3, $20,000 Guaranteed Arabian Stallion Stakes, fillies and mares division to be run at one mile at Lone Star Park.

LORI ANNE, a seven-year-old bay daughter of DORAN SBFAR, has amassed $83,064 in career earnings while sporting a record of 6 wins, 10 seconds and 9 thirds from 46 career starts. Laid down as 7-5 on the morning line, she is definitely on top of her game. She has won her last two starts. Two races back she won a seven furlong allowance by nine lengths at Arapahoe and most recently, a mile and an eighth handicap stake by four and three-quarter lengths, also at Arapahoe.

Scheduled as race three on the nine-race program, the Arabian Stallion Stakes (Fillies & Mares Division) has an approximate post time of 7:23 p.m. (CDT).

STATUS SYMBOLL And GOLLY BRET Face Off In Colts And Geldings Division

        Sharida Nasser Al Rabbi’s STATUS SYMBOLL will go up against Sam A. Vazquez’s GOLLY BRET and five others in the colts and geldings division of the Grade 3, $20,000 Arabian Stallion Stakes Friday night.

Both have won their last two races going into tonight’s competition.  The slight nod by morning line odds maker, Rick Lee has been given to GOLLY BRET at 6-5. Trained by Kenneth Nolen, the chestnut horse by KADOR DE BLAZIET has career earnings of $125,458 and 16 wins from 39 lifetime starts. Ken Danyluk, trainer of STATUS SYMBOLL could take the prize in both divisions Friday night. Given morning line odds of 7-5, the bay horse by DORAN SBFAR has bankrolled $73,090 so far from a career record of 43-7-5-4. This is sure to be a good race.

On The Track: More live racing action Saturday night, October 13 featuring trials for the Grade 1, Lone Star Speedhorse Paint and Appaloosa Futurity. Final will be run on Saturday, November 13.
