• Masterpiece Challenge Paint & Appaloosa Stakes: The fifth race is the first running of the $27,330 Masterpiece Challenge Paint and Appaloosa Stakes for three-year-olds going 400 yards. Approximate post time 8:57 p.m. (CDT).
• Lone Star Speed Horse Paint & Appaloosa Futurity, Grade 1: The featured eighth race is the first running of the Grade 1, $103,762 Lone Star Speedhorse Paint and Appaloosa Futurity at 400 yards. Approximate post time 10:09 p.m. (CDT).
• Breeders' Cup World Championships simulcast live from Santa Anita Park: Saturday, November 3, the first Championship post time is 1:50 p.m. (CDT). The $5 Million Breeders' Cup Classic is at 7:30 p.m. (CDT). Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie, a Class I racetrack operated by Global Gaming Solutions LLC, offers a 26-day 2012 Fall Meeting of Champions for American Quarter Horses which opens Friday, September 14 and concludes on Saturday, November 10. Live racing will be held three days a week, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 6:35 p.m.
