Live Thoroughbred Racing Returns Thursday, April 10
GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas (Monday, March 10, 2014) –Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie is hosting two additional Job Fairs on Tuesday, March 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Thursday, March 13 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. for seasonal, part-time and full-time positions.
Lone Star Park will accept applications and conduct interviews for employment during the 2014 Spring Thoroughbred season, which begins Thursday, April 10 through Saturday, July 12.

Lone Star Park is located at 1000 Lone Star Parkway in Grand Prairie. Exit Belt Line Road off of I-30, go ½ mile North on Belt Line and turn right onto Lone Star Parkway (enter Gate 5) and follow signs to parking.
Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie, a Class I racetrack operated by Texas Partners LSP and GG LSP. The track offers a 50-day 2014 Spring Thoroughbred Season, which opens Thursday, April 10 and concludes on Saturday, July 12. Live racing will be held three days a week, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 6:35 p.m. (except Thursday, May 29 when there will be no live racing), and Sundays at 1:35 p.m. (beginning April 27 through June 15.) The racing program on Memorial Day, May 26, will start at 1:35 p.m. A Special twilight program will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 4 (Lone Stars & Stripes Fireworks Celebration). Special post times for three Triple Crown dates will begin at 3:33 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, May 17 and June 7 (Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes.) Lone Star Park is also home to the multi-million dollar simulcast racebook, sports bar and event venue, Bar & Book. The 36,000 square foot venue is open to the public 363 days a year.
