GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas (Friday, April 18, 2014)Trainer Karl Broberg teamed up with Jockey Junior Chacaltana to sweep the late pick four or final four races on the card tonight at Lone Star Park.

The winning streak began in race six when Fancy Ticket rallied, closing strongly to get up late. In the seventh, Millennium Star also closed strongly, winning by only a head over favorite Standbyyourmangirl. Turbalo, in the eighth race, hit a supersonic gear in the final furlong flying past Explosive Force to win by one and one-quarter lengths. And in the final race of the night, Teleconference raced wide around the final turn and under another confident ride by Chacaltana, taking the lead in the final sixteenth to win by three-quarters of a length.

“We truly felt as if we had a bunch of horses in good spots this weekend,” said Broberg. “I bet the pick four, straight!”

Congratulations to both Karl Broberg and Junior Chacaltana for their accomplishment tonight.
