• Live Thoroughbred Racing: 10 live races scheduled. Gates open at 11:30 a.m. First race post time is 3:33 p.m. (CDT)$5 General Admission. Free General Parking.

• 139th Preakness Stakes Simulcast: Come out and watch California Chrome take on nine others in the “Middle Jewel” of the Triple Crown of racing. The 139th running of the Grade 1 Preakness Stakes will be simulcast live from Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland. Post time for the Preakness will be at approximately 5:18 p.m. (CDT) between Lone Star Park’s fourth and fifth live races.

• Live Music in Courtyard of Champions: Enjoy live music from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. by Big Mouth in our Courtyard of Champions.

Sunday, May 18

Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie, a Class I racetrack operated by Texas Partners LSP and GG LSP. The track offers a 50-day 2014 Spring Thoroughbred Season, which opens Thursday, April 10 and concludes on Saturday, July 12.  Live racing will be held three days a week, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 6:35 p.m. (except Thursday, May 29 when there will be no live racing), and Sundays at 1:35 p.m. (beginning April 27 through June 15.) The racing program on Memorial Day, May 26, will start at 1:35 p.m. A Special twilight program will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 4 (Lone Stars & Stripes Fireworks Celebration). Special post times for three Triple Crown dates will begin at 3:33 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, May 17 and June 7 (Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes.)
