GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas (Friday, June 27, 2014) – The Jockeys vs. Lone Star Park Staff charity softball triple-header has been re-scheduled and will be played at Quick Trip Park Tuesday, July 8 at 6:00 p.m. Please make plans to attend and help support this great cause.
What: 6th Annual Jockeys vs. Lone Star Park Staff Charity Softball triple-header benefiting the Permanently Disabled Jockey Fund.
When: Tuesday, July 8. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. First Pitch is at 6:00 p.m. Second and third games will immediately follow in succession.
Where: Quick Trip Park in Grand Prairie, Home of the Airhogs at 1600 Lone Star Parkway.
There will be a meet and greet with the jockeys and staff after the games. Plus, the jockeys will be auctioning off an autographed jersey!
A donation of $5 per person will be graciously accepted at the entry gates.

Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie, a Class I racetrack operated by Texas Partners LSP and GG LSP. The track offers a 50-day 2014 Spring Thoroughbred Season, which opens Thursday, April 10 and concludes on Saturday, July 12. Live racing will be held three days a week, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 6:35 p.m. (except Thursday, May 29 when there will be no live racing), and Sundays at 1:35 p.m. (beginning April 27 through June 15.) The racing program on Memorial Day, May 26, will start at 1:35 p.m. A Special twilight program will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 4 (Lone Stars & Stripes Fireworks Celebration). Special post times for three Triple Crown dates will begin at 3:33 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, May 17 and June 7 (Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes.) Lone Star Park is also home to the multi-million dollar simulcast racebook, sports bar and event venue, Bar & Book. The 36,000 square foot venue is open to the public 363 days a year.
