FINAL THREE RACES CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas – Races 7, 8 and 9 at Lone Star Park were cancelled tonight due to inclement weather, mainly lightening caused by lingering thunderstorms. The Texas Racing Commission Stewards and track management made the call in the interest of safety for the horses and jockeys.

Due to the cancellations, all Fortune Six wagers will be fully refunded. All wagers made on races 7, 8 and 9 will be fully refunded.

Any pick 3 or pick 4 wagers that were live through race 6 will receive consolation payouts on the cancelled legs.     

Live racing will resume tomorrow night, Saturday, April 18, 2015. Nine live races are scheduled. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. First race post time is 6:35 p.m. General Admission is $5. General parking is free.

Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie, a Class I racetrack operated by Texas Partners LSP and GG LSP. Lone Star Park is also home to the multi-million dollar simulcast racebook, sports bar and event venue, Bar & Book. The 36,000 square foot venue is open to the public 363 days a year.
