Live Thoroughbred Racing: 10 live races scheduled. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. First race post time is 6:35 p.m. $5 General Admission. Free General Parking.  

• Party at the Park: The Project will be performing between live races from 7:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. Enjoy live music and $2 beer specials. It all happens tonight in our Courtyard of Champions!

• Advance Wagering: If you can’t make it out for Belmont Stakes Day Saturday, you can come place your wagers early! Advance wagering on the entire Saturday Belmont Card will be available all day Friday.

• KTCK “The Ticket” Live Appearance: Come meet Ticket personality Norm Hitzges. He will be at the Bar & Book front entrance today from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Saturday, June 6

Live Thoroughbred Racing: Special early post today! 11 live races scheduled. Grandstand Gates open at 11:30 a.m. First race post time is 1:35 p.m. $5 General Admission. Free General Parking.

• 147th Belmont Stakes Simulcast: The 147th running of the Grade 1 Belmont Stakes will be contested today live via simulcast from Belmont Park. Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes winner American Pharaoh is seeking the third and final jewel of the Triple Crown of racing. With a win he will become the 12th horse in history to accomplish this feat. He will be breaking from post position number five and has been assigned morning line odds of 3-5. Post time for the Grade 1 Belmont Stakes live via simulcast is 5:50 p.m. (CT).

• Live Music in the Courtyard: Definitely Maybe will be performing on our Courtyard of Champions Stage between live races from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Family Fun Park: In addition to a great day of racing, The Family Fun Park will be open from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. There will be plenty of fun activities for the entire family that include bounce houses, pony rides and a petting zoo.  

Sunday, June 7

Live Thoroughbred Racing: Nine live races scheduled. Gates open at 11:30 a.m. First race post time is 1:35 p.m. $5 General Admission. Free General Parking.   

Sunday Brunch Buffet in Silks: Enjoy our new Sunday Brunch Buffet in our Silks Dining Room each Sunday from 11:30 a.m. until the end of the sixth race. Try our new Bloody Mary Bar and Mimosa Bar. For advance reservations please call 972-263-7223.

Senior Citizens' Day: Seniors 62 years or older will receive one (1) FREE General Admission at our Admission Gates every Sunday during the 2015 Spring Thoroughbred Season. Just present your valid identification at the designated areas at our entrances to receive your coupon.

Around the Track: The standings going into week nine have jockey CJ McMahon holding on to a 28 win lead with 53 over Lindey Wade, who is in second place with 25 wins. David Cabrera and Cliff Berry share third place with 20 wins each. Cliff Berry is just five wins away from win number 1,000 at Lone Star Park! We are following his progress closely.  In the trainer category, Karl Broberg is on top with 43 wins. Bret Calhoun is second with 24 wins and Shea Stewart is in third place with 16 wins. The owner standings still have Danny Keen in the lead with 24 wins over End Zone Athletics with 16. Good luck to all of our horsemen!

Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie, a Class I racetrack operated by Texas Partners LSP and GG LSP.
