Friday, June 10

Live Thoroughbred Racing: eight live races scheduled. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. First race post time is 7:05 p.m. $5 General Admission. Free General Parking.  

Friday Night Frenzy: Join us for Friday Night Frenzy with 95.9 The Ranch! In addition to live racing, we'll have $2 beer specials until 9:00 p.m. and an after-the-races concert with Quaker City Night Hawks. While you're here be sure to stop by the Courtyard of Champions and register to play Chucko's Pick at the Park for your chance to win up to $2,500 in the Lone Star Money Machine! *Must be 21 years of age or older to enter the Money Machine. 

• Advance Wagering: If you can’t make it out for Belmont Stakes Day Saturday, you can come place your wagers early! Advance wagering on the entire Saturday Belmont Card will be available at any mutuel window all day Friday.

• KTCK “The Ticket” Live Broadcast: Come see the Norm & Donnie show with Norm Hitzges & Donovan Lewis broadcast live from the Bar & Book from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Live Thoroughbred Racing: Special early post! 11 live races scheduled. Grandstand Gates open at 12:00 p.m. First race post time is 2:05 p.m. $5 General Admission. Free General Parking.

• 148th Belmont Stakes Simulcast: The 148th running of the Grade 1 Belmont Stakes will be contested today live via simulcast from Belmont Park. Post time for the Grade 1 feature is approximately 5:37 p.m. (CDT).

• Live Music in the Courtyard: Definitely Maybe will be performing on our Courtyard of Champions Stage between live races from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Family Fun Park: In addition to a great day of racing, The Family Fun Park will be open from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. There will be plenty of fun activities for the entire family that include bounce houses, pony rides and a petting zoo.

Sunday, June 12

Live Thoroughbred Racing: 10 live races scheduled. Gates open at 12:00 noon. First race post time is 2:05 p.m. (CDT) $5 General Admission. Free General Parking.   

Sunday Brunch Buffet in Silks: Enjoy the Sunday Brunch Buffet in our Silks Dining Room, each Sunday from 12:00 noon until the end of the sixth race. Sunday Brunch features a Bloody Mary Station, a Mimosa Station and brunch buffet. Advance reservations can be made by calling 972-263-7223.

 Senior Citizens' Day: Seniors 62 years or older will receive one (1) FREE General Admission at our Admission Gates every Sunday during the 2016 Spring Thoroughbred Season. Just present your valid identification at the designated areas at our entrances to receive your coupon.

Around the Track: The standings going into week 10 of the meet have jockey CJ McMahon in the top spot with 55 wins. Iram Diego is in second place with 46 and David Cabrera holds third place with 35. In the trainer category, Karl Broberg remains on top with 41 wins. Bret Calhoun is second with 23 wins and Steve Asmussen is tied with Danny Pish in third place each with 21 wins. It’s a tight race in the owner standings. End Zone Athletics is in the top spot with 11 wins with Keene Thoroughbreds LLC one win back is at 10. Good luck to all of our horsemen!

Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie, a Class I racetrack operated by Texas Partners LSP and GG LSP.
