SECOND ANNUAL ROSES TO RIBBONS HORSE FAIR SATURDAY, JULY 9 AT LONE STAR PARK

For Immediate Release
Wednesday, July 06, 2016

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas (Wednesday, July 6, 2016) – The Second Annual Roses to Ribbons Old Fashioned Horse Fair, hosted by The Paddock Foundation, is Saturday, July 9 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie. The event will be held in the saddling paddock accessible through the east Grandstand entrance. It’s open to everyone. Admission is free. Concessions will be available.

About the Fair
Racehorse trainers bring thoroughbred racehorses ready to move from racing to a second career to the fair, so prospective buyers can look at the available horses. If a buyer is interested in one, they can negotiate then to purchase the horse. Some horses are sold right at the event. Other times, prospective buyers will make arrangements to schedule a pre-purchase exam for the horse at a later time. Everything is worked out individually between the buyer and seller. This is not an auction.

The Roses to Ribbons Old Fashioned Horse Fair is a great opportunity to find a prospect at a reasonable price for any discipline.

The fair also features a variety of vendors at the event. Tack and clothing, artists, racehorse re-homing groups and more are set up in the saddling paddock.
