GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas (Saturday, October 8, 2016) – Thriving Ivory was first out of the gate in the 18th Dash for Cash Juvenile Stakes at Lone Star Park. Both Desdemona Rambler and Gianni Que, who came up empty, vied for the lead with Thriving Ivory who couldn’t stay with them either, leaving it to Desdemona Rambler, the game winner by a head. Final time for the 400 yard race was 19.963 over a fast track. Good for a speed index of 87.

There was a bit of chaos with the outside posts after the break with repeated bumping, breaking in, out, ducking, shutting off, altering course, you name it, ultimately warranting one disqualification. Jess Iam First Royal was DQ’d from seventh to ninth for ducking out sharply causing the mayhem.
