GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas (Thursday, May 11, 2017) – We’ve moved Dollar Night back to Saturday Night. The first Dollar Night of the season is this Saturday, May 13, and Lone Star Park is the perfect place to enjoy exciting live Thoroughbred racing with plenty of food & drink, at bargain prices.

For just $1 each you can enjoy general admission, soft drinks, hot dogs, and popcorn. Plus, enjoy an ice cold beer for just $2 each!*

While you are enjoying the live racing action and dollar prices, you can also enjoy live music in our Courtyard of Champions from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. by The Wonders.

Gates open at 4:00 p.m. First of nine live races is at 5:00 p.m.

Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie, a Class I racetrack operated by Texas Partners LSP and GG LSP. The track offers a 50-day 2017 Thoroughbred Season, which opens Thursday, April 20 and concludes on Sunday, July 30.  Live racing will be held three days a week, Friday at 6:35 p.m., Saturday at 5:00 p.m. (except Triple Crown Days May 6, May 20 & June 10 which have a 1:35 p.m. start) and Sundays at 2:35 p.m. Live racing will be held on select Thursdays at 6:35 p.m. (April 20, June 15 & July 27). The racing program on Memorial Day, May 29, will start at 2:35 p.m. A special twilight program will be held at 5:00 p.m. both on Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4 (Lone Stars & Stripes Fireworks Celebration). Lone Star Park is also home to the multi-million dollar simulcast racebook, sports bar and event venue, Bar & Book. The 36,000 square foot venue is open to the public 363 days a year.
