• Party at the Park:
 Join us for "Party at the Park" in our Courtyard of Champions from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.! Enjoy live music performed by Motion, plus $2 beer specials!

• Friday Night Frenzy: It’s Friday Night Frenzy with 95.9 The Ranch, so stop by the Courtyard of Champions to register to play Chucko’s Pick at the Park for your chance to win up to $2,500 in the Lone Star Money Machine!*

• Preakness Stakes: The 142nd running of the Grade 1, $1.5 Million Preakness Stakes will be simulcast here live from Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland. Kentucky Derby winner Always Dreaming is seeking to add that second jewel and be on his way to a possible Triple Crown victory. Simulcast of the Preakness stakes will be at approximately 5:48 p.m. (CDT).
 
Live Music in the Courtyard: Enjoy live music by Cuvee in our Courtyard of Champions.  

• HBO Boxing at Bar & Book: Don't miss boxing at Bar & Book. This week it’s Terrence Crawford vs. Felix Diaz and they are fighting for the World Junior Welterweight Championship. You can catch all the action at Bar & Book, the only sports bar in DFW that paid out over $90 Million in winnings last year! Bar & Book is directly next door to the Grandstand building and admission is free!*

  • Senior Citizens' Discount: Seniors 62 years or older will receive one (1) FREE General Admission at our Admission Gates every Sunday during the 2017 Thoroughbred Season. Just present your valid identification at the designated areas at our entrances to receive your coupon.
  • Military Discount: Present your Military ID any Sunday during the 2017 Spring Thoroughbred Season and receive one (1) FREE General Admission at our Admission Gates. Just present your valid identification at the designated areas at our entrances to receive your coupon.

Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie, a Class I racetrack operated by Texas Partners LSP and GG LSP. The track offers a 50-day 2017 Thoroughbred Season, which opens Thursday, April 20 and concludes on Sunday, July 30.  Live racing will be held three days a week, Friday at 6:35 p.m., Saturday at 5:00 p.m. (except Triple Crown Days May 6, May 20 & June 10 which have a 1:35 p.m. start) and Sundays at 2:35 p.m. Live racing will be held on select Thursdays at 6:35 p.m. (April 20, June 15 & July 27). The racing program on Memorial Day, May 29, will start at 2:35 p.m. A special twilight program will be held at 5:00 p.m. both on Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4 (Lone Stars & Stripes Fireworks Celebration).
