$25,000 Mystery Mutuel Voucher Contest – Date: Saturday, April 20, 2024 Official Rules and Regulations. No purchase necessary. Must be 21 years of age or older. Participation & prizes are non-transferable. EVERY GAME PIECE WINS. 1) REQUIREMENTS: The Mystery Mutuel Voucher Contest (the “Contest”) is open to Texas residents only, 21 years of age or older. Only original, unaltered Official Mystery Mutuel Voucher Game Piece(s) (the “Game Piece”) will be accepted on Saturday, April 20, 2024, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. CT and the time when the gates open signaling the start of the last live Lone Star Park race on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at either Bar & Book or the Grandstand. No reproductions, facsimiles or photocopies will be allowed and will result in disqualification. Game Piece must not be tampered with in any way when presented or it will result in disqualification. Limit one (1) Game Piece per person/per household. 2) DISTRIBUTION OF GAME PIECE: One (1) Game Piece was distributed in each of the Lone Star Post Direct Mail pieces mailed to approximately 40,000 households on the Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie mailing list. All issues were mailed on or about April 1, 2024. Limit one (1) mail-distributed Game Piece/entry per household. A lost, misplaced or stolen Game Piece will not be replaced by Lone Star Park. 3) HOW TO PLAY: (a) Generally: To play, Contestant must bring their original Game Piece to Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie will not accept a mailed Game Piece or a Game Piece presented prior to the Contest times on the Contest date. Each Game Piece contains a unique serial number, the value of which is determined by the Tote system when the voucher is inserted into either a self-serve betting machine or by a live Mutuel Teller at Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie. Game Piece must be presented to a betting machine at Bar & Book or at the Grandstand, which will process the value of the ticket through the track’s Tote system, currently provided by GlobalTote. Game Piece may not be tampered with in any way prior to being presented to a betting machine otherwise the Game Piece will be disqualified and voided. The betting machine will display the value of the prize. The Contestant may use the amount either towards a wager or he/she may cash the ticket for the prize value amount shown; the Contestant is not required to use his/her prize to wager. (b) Redemption: To redeem Game Piece without paying entry fee to Lone Star Park: Eligible persons wishing to play for free may do so by going to Bar & Book located at Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie between the hours of 10:00 a.m. CT and prior to the time when the gates open signaling the start of the last live Lone Star Park race Saturday, April 20, 2024. Game Piece(s) not redeemed prior to the start of the last live Lone Star Park race on Saturday, April 20, 2024 will be void, thus all prizes may not be redeemed. 4) RANDOM SELECTION OF THE PRIZEWINNER(S): To determine the $25,000 winner, one (1) voucher was punched and payment stopped. The voucher was inserted randomly into an envelope with the Lone Star Post direct mail piece. The eligible Contestant who presents the untampered-with winning Game Piece at the appropriate location will be declared the winner of the prize value, once the winner has confirmed eligibility requirements. 5) PRIZES (Non-transferable): (a) One (1) Grand Prize: Grand Prize is $25,000, payable to the prizewinner only. Only one (1) Grand Prize will be awarded/paid. In the event no eligible Contestant presents the winning Game Piece during the Contest hours, no Grand Prize will be paid according to the Official Rules and Regulations of this Contest. Every Game Piece is a potential prize of at least $10.00. (b) Additional Prizes: Additional prizes were mailed in accordance with the Official Rules and Regulations of this Contest. The prize values and quantities of each mailed of all prizes are as follows: PRIZE BREAKDOWN IS AS FOLLOWS FOR LONE STAR PARK AT GRAND PRAIRIE: (1) – $25,000, (2) – $500, (10) – $100, (100) – $20, (39,887) – $10, (40,000) – Total Vouchers. Mutuel Voucher may be exchanged for cash or applied toward a wager. Each Contestant is only eligible to win one (1) prize. For greater clarity, once a Contestant has won a prize, their Game Piece will show zero remaining value and will be collected by a Mutuel Teller or collected in a self-service machine and no longer be eligible for any further prizes. Prize winnings or participation may not be substituted, transferred or assigned by Contestant. Should any prizewinner refuse a prize, Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie, its parent company and each of their affiliates are released from any obligation and liability related to such prize. 6) TERMINATION OF PROMOTION AND NON-REDEMPTION OF PRIZES: Prizes not awarded in the Mystery Mutuel Voucher Contest on Saturday, April 20, 2024 will not be awarded following the Contest. Only prizes redeemed prior to the start of Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie’s last live race on Saturday, April 20, 2024 will be awarded. 7) TAXES: Liability for any and all Federal, State and Local taxes rests solely with the prizewinner. Any prizewinner whose prize is valued at $600 or more must sign a release form, confirming compliance with these Official Rules and Regulations of this Contest, and fill out a W-9 form for tax purposes. 8) JUDGING: Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie, through its management, reserves the right to interpret all questions and conditions in regard to this Contest, without claim for damages or recourse of any kind. All questions not covered in these Official Rules and Regulations will be decided by the management of Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie, its decision to be final. 9) PERSONS NOT ELIGIBLE TO ENTER OR PLAY: The following persons are ineligible to participate in the Contest: Current and former employees who have been employed within three (3) months of Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie and Global Gaming Solutions and its advertising agencies, printers, and companies involved in the creation or distribution of the Game Piece, including but not limited to MGM Printing Company and Broadnax Mailing Company; SCA Promotions, Inc.; members of the media; stable personnel; employees of the Texas State Racing Commission; employees of GlobalTote; any members of the immediate families of the foregoing; any individual admitted to Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie free of charge due to employment on Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie property. 10) GENERAL: By presenting a Game Piece and participating in the Contest, Contestant agrees to and accepts the Official Rules and Regulations as detailed above. Prizewinners are obligated, and by entering agrees, to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, General Release of Liability, Indemnity and Publicity Consent without further compensation, prior to being awarded any prize. Non-compliance will result in disqualification. By entering this Contest, each Contestant agrees to the use of his or her name, voice, photo, biographical information and/or likeness for promotional purposes by Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie without further compensation. 11) LAWS: These are the Official Rules and Regulations and this Contest will be ruled by the laws of the State of Texas. This Contest is subject to all applicable Federal and State law. These Official Rules and Regulations are subject to change without notice in order to comply with any applicable Federal and State laws. 12) INDEMNIFICATION: By entering this Contest, each Contestant indemnifies, releases and holds harmless Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie, their parent and affiliate companies and each of their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to persons, including death, or property damage, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, or participation in this Contest. 13) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie assumes no liability for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of this Contest, including, without limitation, errors in the printing of the offer and Official Rules and Regulations, selection, notification and announcement of the prizewinners, or distribution of the prizes. 14) Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie and each of their parent and affiliate companies and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents shall assume no liability of any kind whatsoever in any cases in which their inability to act results from an event or situation beyond their control, including, but not limited to acts of God, civil or military authority, acts of public enemy, war, riot, civil disturbance, fire explosion, earthquake, flood, strike, third party non-performance lockout, labor disturbance, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of a party. 15) TERMINATION: Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie reserves the right to terminate, modify or suspend this Contest without prior notice, prior to the start of last live race on Saturday, April 20, 2024.
