JOB FAIR DATES ANNOUNCED AS LONE STAR PARK READIES FOR
2019 LIVE THOROUGHBRED RACING SEASON
GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas (Wednesday, February 20, 2019) – Lone Star Park is looking to fill some 500+ full-time and part-time seasonal positions for our upcoming Thoroughbred Racing Season which opens in April. We want you, so dress for success and bring your résumé to one of our job fairs scheduled in March and April. We offer a fun atmosphere, flexible schedules, competitive wages and great benefits. What:
Job Fairs, hiring for 2019 Thoroughbred Season which begins Thursday, April 18 and runs through Sunday, July 21.
When:
Saturday, March 16 – 10 am to 4 pm
Wednesday, March 20 – 10 am to 6 pm
Saturday, March 30 – 12 pm to 4 pm
Friday, April 5 – 10 am to 6 pm

Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie, a Class I racetrack operated by Texas Partners LSP and Global Gaming LSP. The track offers a 44-day 2019 Thoroughbred Season, which opens Thursday, April 18 and concludes on Sunday, July 21. Live racing will be held select Thursdays and select Fridays at 6:35 p.m. Saturday and Sunday race programs start at 2:35 p.m. (except Triple Crown Days; May 4, May 18 & June 8 which have a 1:35 p.m. start). A special twilight program will be held at 5:00 p.m. both on Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5 (Lone Stars & Stripes Fireworks Celebration). Lone Star Park is also home to the multi-million dollar simulcast racebook, sports bar and event venue, Bar & Book. The 36,000 square foot venue is open to the public 363 days a year.
